This weekend was pretty much all about my MARVELOUS friend of 20 years, Peter.
Peter is leaving to live and work in Vietnam indefinitely. He will start with 3 months to see how he likes it.
On FRIDAY, I went to the classroom.
I swept the floors and worked on student schedules and other things having to do with special ed.
That evening, I met up with everyone at BJ’s for dinner.
They’re known for their pizza, but I got pork chop off their EnLIGHTened menu.
I headed to yoga at the farmer’s park. It’s free and set up by my yoga studio for the community.
Since I didn’t have pizza the night before, I got a slice at Mother’s. I don’t like mozzarella?
This was the cover of a notebook at Seed People’s Market, which by the way, is an awesome store.
Then I got a ride to meet up with everyone in Big Bear! I haven’t been there since 5th grade.
We started our trip with drinks at Murray’s Saloon, a nice dive bar with karaoke and a mostly male crowd.
The photos you find in your phone in the morning. Look! There’s Peter.
I fell asleep in a chair and it was comfortable. I was even the first person awake and took a short walk.
Once everyone got ready, we found food at The Village.
I have leftovers for lunch tomorrow.
We ventured out to Big Bear Lake on a pontoon.
Oh wait, there’s me. In shorts!
I made myself a steak, nice and rare, for dinner.
